Dear:

If I set MAGMOM = 3 in the INCAR for certain ion, how VASP defines its direction? Will VASP automatically find the groundstate direction?

to get the information about the direction of the moments, please set LNONCOLLINEAR=True, and give a triplet o numbers (x,y,z) for the initial values of MAGMOM
