Installing the ifort compiler

#1 Post by Isha » Tue May 25, 2010 5:31 am

Hi....................While I was trying to install ifort compiler version 11.0 on ubuntu 9.0 it gave the error that libstdc++.so.5 is required. But it is placed in the folder ifort/l_prof_p_11.0.083/pset/32/gcc-3.2/libstdc++.so.5 But it doesn't work. What should i do?

Installing the ifort compiler

Since this is not a VASP related question, I would suggest to direct this question to the Intel ifort forum or at least see if you can find earlier threads on this topic in that forum (i.e. if you can't sort it out from the installation instructions):

http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/ ... -mac-os-x/

Best regards,
/Dan
