Has anyone got a makefile for vasp runining on a G5 X-Server using XLF and the veclib BLAS and LAPACK?
We're working on it but the exe crashes everythime!

Yes I do, look at

http://titus.phy.qub.ac.uk/group/Peter/

It probably crashes due to an incompatibility between xlf and a few vecLib routines (zdotc is the culprit in your case).
