What is reference energy of E0?

Hi all~~
I have simple question.
Do you guys know what is E0 vs ?? (C?)
For example, when we calculate the Pt bulk (for 4 atoms), we can get the energy like E0=.24206263E+02.
I think the value should be compared with something (Carbon?).
I'm a beginner of this. plz solve my curiosity
Thank you for your kind answer.
